Handmade solid oak bathroom vanities.

Bathrooms are humid, and flat-pack furniture fails there. I build vanity units the way they should be built — solid hardwood fronts, frames and drawer boxes. No chipboard, no MDF, no vinyl wrap. Built in my workshop in Carlow, and installed by the same hands that built them.

Two ways to buy, from €2,195.

Studio range handmade solid white oak bathroom vanity with quartz top

Solid Timber, Not Chipboard

Most vanities on the market are chipboard or MDF wrapped in vinyl, which is fine, but let's face it, it's trying to look like hardwood and no matter how good it's done, it never really does. A Daly vanity is built for the room it lives in.

Solid oak fronts

Fronts and frames are solid hardwood — white oak as standard, walnut if you prefer it darker.

Solid wood drawer boxes

The drawer boxes are solid wood, hand-cut dovetails on Reserve and an option on Studio. No chipboard, no MDF, no vinyl wrap.

Set sizes or made to measure

Studio comes in three set widths. Reserve is made to measure — any width and height, designed for the room and your basin.

Japandi design

Clean lines, visible grain, push-to-open drawers with no handles, and durable moisture-appropriate finishes applied by hand.

Pricing

The price is a maker's days plus real timber — no more, no less.

Studio
from €2,195

A set design, made in three widths, in white oak. In-frame slab doors, two drawers, solid wood drawer boxes. Chosen from the range, so there's no design process to pay for. It's the vanity pictured below.

  • 800mm€2,195
  • 1000mm€2,475
  • 1200mm€2,750
Reserve
from €5,000

Made to measure and designed for the room, in walnut, white oak, or a combination. In-frame fronts with grain matched where possible, hand-cut dovetailed drawer boxes, and a 3D design drawn up with you.

  • 800mmfrom €5,000
  • 1000mm€5,450
  • 1200mm€5,900
  • 1400mm+ or double basinfrom €6,800
Options on Studio
  • Walnut instead of white oak+€550
  • Hand-cut dovetailed drawer boxes+€450
  • Non-standard width, made to measure, up to 1400mm+€400

The Reserve price of €5,000 is for an 800mm wide unit at standard depth with a single basin; anything beyond that is priced from the list above.

Counters and basins: most clients supply their own, and installing a counter and basin you've supplied is €150. If you'd rather I sourced and installed them so it's all on one invoice, that's €750.

Not included: installation is quoted separately, on both tiers. Deeper than standard — 650mm, say — is quoted per job rather than absorbed into the prices above.

The Studio Vanity in White Oak

Every photograph on this page is the Studio range — solid white oak, in-frame slab fronts, two full-width drawers — shown here under a quartz top cut for a countertop basin. This is the piece the Studio prices above are built on, and it comes in 800mm, 1000mm, and 1200mm.

From Enquiry to Install

01
Enquiry & measure

Send a few photos and rough sizes of the space. I'll measure up properly and we agree the design.

02
Quote & build slot

A clear price and a slot in the workshop calendar. Payment terms come with the quote.

03
The build

Built by hand in the workshop — allow one to two weeks, depending on the spec.

04
Install day

Fitting is typically a single day, done by me — the person who built it is the person who fits it.

What's included and what isn't: I build and fit the unit; your plumber handles the water — plumbing connection and disconnection, tiling, and electrics aren't included. Install covers Carlow, the south-east, and the Dublin-commutable region. Supply-only is available nationwide: the vanity is shipped or collected, and a local carpenter fits it.

Built in Carlow, Filmed as It Happens

Every vanity comes out of a one-man workshop in Carlow. The making is filmed for YouTube, so you can see exactly how these units go together — watch at @DalyWoodDesigns.
