Handmade solid oak bathroom vanities.
Bathrooms are humid, and flat-pack furniture fails there. I build vanity units the way they should be built — solid hardwood throughout. No chipboard, no MDF, no vinyl wrap. Made to measure in my workshop in Carlow, and fitted by the same hands that built them.
Three ways to buy, from €1,895.
Solid Timber, Not Chipboard
Most vanities on the market are chipboard or MDF wrapped in vinyl. In a humid room, that swells, peels, and sags. A Daly vanity is built for the room it lives in.
Solid oak fronts
Every front, frame, and surface is solid hardwood — white oak as standard, walnut if you prefer it darker.
Solid hardwood carcass
The carcass is solid hardwood too — not just the fronts. No chipboard, no MDF. Premium hardwood ply is used for drawer bases only, for strength and durability.
Made to measure
Sized to your bathroom and your basin — not the nearest standard module off a shelf.
Japandi design
Clean lines, visible grain, push-to-open drawers with no handles, and durable moisture-appropriate finishes applied by hand.
Pricing
The price is a maker's days plus real timber — no more, no less.
Collection
A set-size design from the house range. Solid oak throughout, with an oak-faced plywood drawer base for strength.
Bespoke
The same solid build, made to measure for your bathroom and your sanitaryware — in oak or walnut.
Reserve
The Reserve range — dovetailed drawer construction throughout, in oak or walnut.
Counters and sinks: most customers supply their own — I fit them for €150. If you'd rather I source the counter and sink, the package is €750, supplied and fitted.
The White Oak Vanity
Solid white oak fronts under a quartz top, cut for a countertop basin — the reference piece for the range.
Two full-width push-to-open drawers in solid white oak — no handles to catch on, nothing to peel
The quartz top, cut and polished for a countertop basin — every surface you touch is real material
From Enquiry to Install
Enquiry & measure
Send a few photos and rough sizes of the space. I'll measure up properly and we agree the design.
Quote & build slot
A clear price and a slot in the workshop calendar. Payment terms come with the quote.
The build
Built by hand in the workshop — allow one to two weeks, depending on the spec.
Install day
Fitting is typically a single day, done by me — the person who built it is the person who fits it.
What's included and what isn't: I build and fit the unit; your plumber handles the water — plumbing connection and disconnection, tiling, and electrics aren't included. Install covers Carlow, the south-east, and the Dublin-commutable region. Supply-only is available nationwide: the vanity is shipped or collected, and a local carpenter fits it.
Built in Carlow, Filmed as It Happens
Every vanity comes out of a one-man workshop in Carlow. The making is filmed for YouTube, so you can see exactly how these units go together — watch at @DalyWoodDesigns.
